Wrestling Is Money

Are they sacred? I think.

In the world of wrestling, there are many companies to watch or if you’re a wrestler, perform. WWE has always been at the top and most likely forever will be, we all loved Stone Cold, The Rock etc. In the last couple years, there have been other companies giving WWE a run for their money—Ring of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). These companies have BIG stars in them at moment and people have a feeling WWE might be taking them away so they have less competition.

The big stars I am talking are Marty Scrull, Cody, Hangman Page, Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and more. They have a group that goes by the name of “Bullet Club” or “The Elite." Young Bucks have great YouTube show called “Being The Elite” and just a goofy show because wrestling is entertainment of course. The last couple years these guys have been through the ROOF. If you go out in public I bet you you’ll see some sort of Bullet Club tee. They have shirts and even more merchandise at Hot Topic stores around the United States. That is insane, because non-WWE wrestlers are making the money most wrestler in WWE are making now (maybe more).

So, this is HUGE threat to WWE these men changed the way wrestling is forever. Recently Young Bucks and Cody ran a show called “All In” which sold out with 10,000+ people in Chicago. For some “bingo hall wrestlers” that’s amazing. Also in April NJPW and ROH are doing a sold out show in Madison Sqaure Garden. WWE is definitely keeping a eye out of these people. Come this January Young Bucks and Kenny Omega have huge choices to make on if they will be signing a contract with WWE or keep doing what the are doing now.

Wrestling business is a weird world. One moment someone is saying they aren’t in it for the money they just love the business. The next minute you can tell they are just doing it for the money. Money talks and people are no stranger to that, but there are somethings in this world you just gotta put the money behind and do what you do because you truly love it (Just my belief). Writers, owners or who ever run a wrestling company always says “we listen to the fans”. Most of the time it’s false, fans want to see a underdog over come everything and fight for what they want. Can’t get that most of the time, they’ll just go with the biggest guy put a title on him and hope they make money money money.

Right now, WWE is going to Saudi Arabia for an event called “Crown Jewel." With all of the bad things happening over there you’d think they would cancel the event... wrong. The company is still going through with it, even though multiple superstars said they feel uncomfortable going over there right now. Like I said before, money talks. WWE signed a 10 year partnership with Saudi Arabia’s social and economic reform program, so I can’t see them backing out of this at all. Putting lives in danger is not the way to go, but those dollars speak I guess. I wonder if they would cancel the event if "The Big Dog" Roman Regins said I'm not going. How insane would be, for your top guy to pull out of the event, but I'm sure they would go still and just have a number one contender match for the title.

Wrestling is also pretty much taking over the world little by little. I said a couple years ago that this was going to happen. Everywhere you go there is some sort of WWE merch, shirts, cups, plates with birthday parties etc. John Cena is most likely on all of this because we the people love Mr. Cena! But now you're starting to see a lot more superstars on merch, which is awesome to me. Superstars are making a name for themselves and becoming your kid's favorite person. As I like to say... everything is wrestling. Wrestling will be forever.
