How I Would've Saved WWE SummerSlam 2018

The Fall of The Empire/The Rise of The Advocates

With the Biggest Event of The Summer Weekend behind us, the majority of the fans knew this event was gonna be a dud. It was, in my opinion, an ehh show, especially for being an almost five-hour show. With lackluster storylines, repetitive matches from the prior PPV with predictable outcomes, WWE's agenda to push Reigns as their top guy, and that same main event he is in is pretty much more played out than any Cena/Orton feud. If WWE would've gone against the grain and actually produced an exciting ending, this could've been one of the best Summerslam in years. This could've been a great opportunity to push KO as their leading heel on Raw. And putting The Authors of Pain with Kevin would make perfect sense since they need a manager/mouthpiece. Kevin could have also been a mentor to them to help out with their promos. Even though I don't hate their promos, they a need a little help. This will also get AOP out of the current feud they're in or at least speed it up for them to be involved in the tag title hunt. I think my idea for Kevin Owens and Authors of Pain stable forming would've blown the roof of the Barclays Center. Or at least make the show more interesting with my booking of the main event.

KEVIN OWENS vs BRAUN STROWMAN (If Braun Loses In Any Way He Loses His Money In The Bank Briefcase)

It starts in the Kevin Owens vs Braun Strowman match, with Owens in the corner groggy, beat up, and on the verge of DEATH. Strowman riles up the crowd with the biggest "GET THESE HANDS" chant in the opposite corner, then boom out of nowhere Rezar and Akam (The Authors of Pain) jump on the apron beside KO. Confused, Strowman gets pissed and before he gets the chance to charge them, one of them punches KO in the face in front of the ref causing a DQ for Strowman (with the stipulation of if Strowman loses in any way he loses his Money In The Bank Briefcase). He starts arguing with the ref and even picks him up off his feet by the collar steaming mad. As soon as the ref's feet is launched off the mat, one of them gets KO out the ring and the other attacks Braun with a chair, and then the other joins in the beat down with a weapon of his own. AOP just destroys Strowman, takes the briefcase, and then head to the parking lot where a car is waiting for them and they take off. (If Zayn wasn't hurt it would've been a Heluva Kick to KO with AOP just beating Strowman down and BOOM a new stable.)

ROMAN REIGNS vs BROCK LESNAR (c) WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Later in the night in the main event, during the match, the ref is knocked out accidentally by both wrestlers. Both are down on the mat which gives Heyman an opportunity to screw either Lesnar or Reigns. He grabs the title, jumps on the apron, and tosses it to Reigns. Reigns gets up with the title in hand with a confused look on his face. Without warning, he pepper sprays him again. Lesnar hits the F-5 on Reigns at least 3 times, consecutively. 1-2-3, and STILL your Undisputed, Reigning, Defending, WWE Universal Champion, BROCK LESNAR.

THE ADVOCATES OF PAIN

With Heyman still holding the title like it's his favorite teddy bear, Lesnar tells him to hand him his WWE Universal Championship. Heyman then comes into the ring still hugging the title closely to his person, Lesnar more aggressively tells him to hand him the title. A big smirk creepily forms on Heymans' face and AOP out of nowhere attacks Lesnar with chairs. They go outside the ring and destroy Reigns by doing the Last Chapter on the commentating table. They hit Brock with at least 2 Last Chapters'. KO music hits. At this point, the crowd is going beyond crazy. He gingerly jogs (kind of like speed hobbling?) to the ring (because of the beating Strowman gave him earlier) with his newly won Money In The Bank Briefcase. AOP hits The Last Chapter on Lesnar one more time as KO cashes in. AOP props Lesnar up in the corner while the ref rings the bell. They push him towards KO, Pop Up Powerbomb, 1-2-3, a new WWE Universal Champion is crowned. The ref raises KO's hand and Heyman desperately pushes the ref outta the way to raise KO's hand.

SYNOPSIS

A new champion crowned, a new stable for Heyman to advocate, and new storylines being formed. Not only do AOP get KO as a promo mentor, they get Heyman as well. I think that would really send fans at the arena and at home entertained, happy, and intrigued for Monday Night Raw. This definitely would've made the Shield reunion from the Monday after Summerslam a whole lot better and would've made more sense, in my opinion. A proper Advocates vs Shield feud can come from this. Keep Reigns with the Shield for a while since he's not getting over on his own. With maybe a winner takes all match at The Royal Rumble. It could've been great.
