Divisional Round Picks Against the Spread
We have made it to the Divisional Round in the NFL Playoffs. We have made it. On a personal note, I am back from Miami and I am sad. I had such an awesome weekend, generated a nice tan, and now that tan is holding on for dear life. Sad state of affairs. The other sad state of affairs involved my picks for the Wild Card Round where I went 0-3-1 and my only win was a miraculous push by the Seahawks—and the only reason that was the case is because Seattle's kicker went out with an injury so Seattle had to go for the two-point conversion each time (and they were successful). An unreal push, but overall, a very rough week for ya boy and his picks.

Wild Card Weekend Picks Against the Spread
Wild Card weekend. Wow, I can't believe the NFL playoffs are here. I am currently in Miami Beach, trying to freshen my tan and recapture the magic that is my summer look for a few days, but I couldn't miss previewing Wild Card weekend. Before we go in to this weekend's games, a few notes from Week 17 as we tie a bow on the regular season:

Week 17 Picks Against the Spread
We are here, week 17 of the NFL season, the regular season finale. I can not believe we are here at this point. Christmas has come and passed, New Years is next week, and my trip to Miami is coming closer (Yeah buddy. Time to hopefully cook outside a bit and get my color back.). I say it almost every time I write this column; time needs to chill the fuck out a bit and stop moving so fast. But anyway the NFL's regular season is wrapping up and there are still plenty of things to sort out regarding the playoff picture.

Week 16 Picks Against the Spread
It is week 16 in the NFL. We have gotten to the point where there are no more Thursday night games; only Saturday games in addition to the standard Sunday and Monday night slate. Only two weeks left in the regular season—crazy how quick this season has gone.

Week 15 Picks Against the Spread
So it's week 15 in the NFL season. We now have Saturday afternoon and evening games. I can't believe we are already here; time is flying by way too fast and needs to chill out a bit. Seriously. It is now full on winter, it's cold outside, Hannukah has come and gone, I am pale as a ghost and am miserable. Anyway, back to NFL happenings.

The NBA's True MVP
So a few weeks ago, the Golden State Warriors had some major internal strife and turmoil; the first major issue for a team that has gone 281 and 72 in the last five years including this season's modest 16-9 record so far. For those who are not math experts, that's a winning percentage of just about 80 percent (79.6 to be more precise). That is just an astounding number; absolutely insane.

Week 14 NFL Picks Against the Spread
We are already in Week 14 of the NFL season. My fantasy team has been eliminated from the playoffs thanks to Le'veon Bell and his nonsense, so good riddance fantasy football (until I get suckered into doing it again next year even if I absolutely hate it). Can't believe the regular season is three quarters of the way finished. Time needs to chill the fuck out a bit.

Week 13 NFL Picks Against the Spread
Week 13 in the NFL, it's wild that we are already at this point in the season with only a month left of regular season games. I am on record of being an NFL hater, but even I have to admit, this season has been a ton of fun. Lot of great stories, so before getting to the picks, here is a quick snapshot of why this season has been so much fun (even if as a Giants fan, the Giants season has not been that fun except for Saquon Barkely being awesome):

Week 12 Picks Against the Spread
The streak is over. After going over .500 for about a month with my picks, last week was the first sub .500 week in a while. I would like to thank the Atlanta Falcons for screwing me once again. I went against my own rule of never backing the Falcons and it came back to bite me, because of course it did.

NFL Week 11 Picks Against the Spread
Week 11 NFL. Can't believe we are already here; the season is flying by. And you know what? Time needs to slow down and chill the fuck out for a bit. Seriously time, how about you relax? It seems like a two weeks ago it was still somewhat warm outside in New York. Now it is fucking freezing, and I am not handling this well. I shouldn't have to wear a winter coat in mid-November—brutal. I need to get somewhere warm and get myself a tan ASAP.

Is Zion Williamson the Most Exciting College Basketball Player of All Time?
My name is Aaron Tobin-Hess and basketball is my first love. Many of you know me from my various columns on here, mostly where I give NFL picks and make people money in the process (not to brag but I am on a bit of a heater. 12-2-1 in my last 15 picks. You can read my picks for week 10 here but at my core I am a basketball guy. It's the best sport on earth.

Week 10 NFL Picks Against the Spread
There is a ton going on in the world of sports. NBA season is in full effect and has ton of juicy story lines (Warriors are ridiculous, LeBron drama, the Raptors with and without Kawhi Leonard are so legit, Giannis etc); the NHL season as well. Additionally, college football is getting close to its playoff and the standings are constantly changing (except for Alabama who just kicks the shit out of everyone they play; its like clockwork). And then there was college basketball's opening night last night which featured many top ten teams and most importantly the debut of the Duke super freshman RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish, and Zion Williamson, who looks like a cross between Charles Barkley and a member of the X-Men—my goodness. Those three kids are, in all likelihood, going to be three of the top five picks in the upcoming NBA draft.
