2019 NFL Mock Draft 1-Round

1-32 Predictions

First, 32 picks mock draft. You won't see any other mock results like this. This will be very entertaining.

1) Arizona Cardinals—A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss

A.J Brown, you might ask. There are a lot of talented players and many higher ranked players, but not positions the Cardinals need. A.J Brown is a great fit as he has the size of A.J Green and the route running of Antonio Brown. This team definitely needs a player on offense. They were dead last in offense this year and A.J Brown should be a great improvement to the offense.

2) San Francisco 49ers—Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

Nick Bosa would be the greatest fit for this team and is projected as number one pick. The team hasn't been able to get a good pass rusher and Nick Bosa is too good to pass off on. Great improvement to an already good team.

3) New York Jets—Josh Allen, OLB, Kentucky

Josh Allen could be a great addition to the defense as their star middle linebacker left the team. Josh Allen could fit this hole perfectly and fill in for Demario Davis's missed spot.

4) Oakland Raiders—Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama

The Raiders need a defensive line urgently after they lost Khalil Mack. Their defense is ranked 32nd in rushing defense. Quinnen Williams will be a great addition.

5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers—Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

The secondary needs a lot of help and not much talent is in the defense. Only Lavonte David and Gerald McCoy are good players in the defense. The corner would help tremendously to the defense.

6) New York Giants—Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

Time for the Giants to move on from Eli Manning. This team is in need of a new quarterback to lead the team. Dwayne Haskins is the top QB and should be taken by the Giants.

7) Jacksonville Jaguars—Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma

Blake Bortles might be one of the worst QB in the NFL. So, anyone from now on is an improvement. Kyler Murray could bring around a super bowl contending team with his passing skills.

8) Detroit Lions—D.K. Metcalf, WR, Arizona State

After losing Golden Tate, D.K. will be a great catcher working alongside Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay. With Kerryon Jonson too, the offense should get back up to pace.

9) Buffalo Bills—Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

The offense is a big issue in the team. No great RB or WR left for a top first round pick. So, this is no brainer after losing Richie Incognito.

10) Denver Broncos—Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

I don't think QB is a solution to this team. The defense did take a big beating last year and Ed Oliver is a top rusher to bring down QBs.

11) Cincinnati Bengals—Devin White, ILB, LSU

One of the worst defense needs improvements in every area. Why not get a star linebacker from LSU?

12) Green Bay Packers—Jeffery Simpson, DT, Miss. State

Defense is a hot mess in the packers. The pass rush has been scarce in the team. Needing the highest-ranked defensive player at where they are standing.

13) Miami Dolphins—Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia

Yep, no QB for round one. I expect them to fill this position out in free agency. Find a temporary QB or even get Nick Foles as a starter, but this year's QB round isn't too strong. Mind as well fix the defense.

14) Atlanta Falcons—Cleline Ferrell, DE, Clemson

The team is actually decent with a great offense. But with injuries racking up the majority of the defense, the team couldn't move forward with their backups. Falcons should be a playoff team and a defensive edge won't hurt the team.

15) Washington Redskins—Drew Lock, QB, Missouri

Alex Smith suffered a gruesome injury that is most likely going to end his career. Even with him, the offensive wasn't productive, but without him, it was worse. It's time for the Redskins to find their future QB and Drew Lock fits that position with 13 games, 3498, 28 TDs, and 8 INTs.

16) Carolina Panthers—Jachai Polite, DE, Florida

The defensive tackles are the only lineman known in the defense. No standout in the edges. The team doesn't need too much improvement to make the playoff. Although they are also missing WR, DE would provide more value.

17) Cleveland Brown—Rashad Gray, DT, Michigan

Browns? Not the first pick? Finally, they were able to select a great QB and get the team going. Now they need a better defense. A DT will make this defensive line a deadly duo with Myles Garret. As you can see, this draft is full of defensive lineman.

18) Minnesota Vikings—Gregg Little, OT, Ole Miss

One of the best teams in the league if they could allow the QB to hold the ball for more than two seconds. Even a great running back like Dalvin Cook couldn't run with this offensive line. They need one desperately, so why not draft one?

19) Tennessee Titans—Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma

Speediest WR in the draft, something every team looks for. The only receiver the Titans have is Corey Davis and the rest of the team plays like the practice squad. No targets for Marcus Mariota has resulted in a very slow offense. So, this is a great opportunity for the Titans.

20) Pittsburgh Steeler—Byron Murphy, CB, Washington

A Super Bowl contending team that has many issues communicating and leaving the middle of the field wide open in defense. Antonio Brown is going to leave the team, so that's not good news. But defense is the main issue. With Ryan Shazier most likely coming back, they need a strong corner to cover the receivers. Great draft pick.

21) Seattle Seahawks—Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson

Teams don't need much improvement from now on but are looking to get better depth or make a decent position better. Wilkins will improve the defensive line and crush offensive lineman.

22) Baltimore Ravens—D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

The team is in need a big strong wide out. Lamar Jackson isn't the best of Qbs, so surrounding him with great receivers is no brainer.

23) Houston Texans—Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma

Pressure is the only thing that Deshaun Watson has experienced this year. He's been sacked for a whopping 62 times! Without an offensive line, the team can't play up to full potential.

24) Oakland Raiders (from Chicago)—Montez Sweeten, OLB, Miss State

They've temporarily covered up the defensive line now they need a linebacker. Thanks to the draft picks from the trade of Amari Cooper and Khalil Mack, they could draft young stars.

25) Philadelphia Eagles—Dre'Mont Jones, Ohio State, DT

Not much the Eagles need, but extra pressure wouldn't hurt. The team was lacking in sacks with Brandon Graham with only 4 sacks, while Fletcher Cox had 10.5 sacks.

Two great defensive tackles in the line would make it impossible for running backs to get yards.

26) Indianapolis Colts—Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson

A 350 lb player. How is he blockable? He's going to be a real issue to offensive linemen. A frightening guy to pass up on.

27) Oakland Raiders (from Dallas)—Deionte Thompson, FS, Alabama

All three picks used to improve the defense should be worth it. Three stars could make a bigger difference than one big star. The Raiders haven't had a good secondary for years, but who knows what Jon Gruden will pick.

28) Los Angeles Chargers—Jaawan Taylor, OT, Florida

The offensive line could use some work to help the running game. Ranked 15th in rushing offense, and Phillip Rivers getting frustrated with the line not able to block shows why they need an offensive lineman.

29) Kansas City Chiefs—Jerry Tillery, DT, Notre Dame

Their offense is amazing, but their defense is not. The defense was the main reason they didn't make the super bowl. The defensive line should be the start of an upgrade as all top corners and linebackers are taken.

30) Green Bay Packers (from New Orleans)—Mack Wilson, ILB, Alabama

The defense has put a lot of pressure on Clay Matthews. He needs help from another linebacker to keep track of the defense. New team, new coach, a new defense should allow them to win the division.

31) Los Angeles Rams—Noah Fant, TE, Iowa

The team played much differently in the super bowl than they had all year. Ranked with a top-five offense, but they didn't shine. It was the defense, but how long can they hold Tom Brady? A star tight end should bring this offense more options and a strong receiver. The team only consists of fast slim receivers that could easily be shut down without a strong and tall player to cover.

32) New England Patriots—Daniel Jones, QB, Duke

No surprise the Patriots won the super bowl. They got granted what they deserved. Last pick. Hahaha! Losers! So, they'll pick up a QB to back up Brady until he retires... never.

Conclusion

This was my 2019 NFL mock draft. I decided not to add any trades to make it much easier to understand. Tell me what would've changed in this draft. I expect zero. :)
