Welcome, Wrestling fans!!!

"The Iconic" duo debut!!

Shinsuke Nakamura heel turn is complete!!

Plus, the women’s division just got more fabulous!!

I am yours truly, Michael, and I will review the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 34. I remember guys, the New Orleans’ have a whacky crowd and they are here to have fun. They will boo people they usually cheer and cheer people they might usually boo.

So, without further ado, let’s get right to it!

Shane McMahon opened the show with thunderous cheers. Maybe Corey Graves was right about this crowd. Shane thanked the audience for a great WrestleMania. He said that "Daniel Bryan is now officially a full-time member of the Smackdown Live roster."

This means that we need a new General Manager.

Will it be the rumored Jeff Jarret?

Will it be the rumored Hulk Hogan?

It was neither of those Hall of Famers.

So, who could it be?

It is Paige!!!

Yes!

Yes!

Yes!

Paige is the new SmackDown Live General Manager!

We all thought that she would retire from the WWE and venture somewhere else. This was one of my happiest moment as a fan. So, Paige's first act was to make a dream match with WWE Champion AJ Styles versus Daniel Bryan for the main event. This was a good opening to the show, and Paige is the best suited for this role, rather than being an unnecessary third wheel to “Absolution” ever since her injury.

Then we got The Usos taking on The New Day in a fantastic match that was so much better than what they did at WrestleMania 34.

It is amazing how you give talented wrestlers time to perform well, isn’t it?

There was some fantastic exchange of blows between Jimmy Uso and Xavier Woods and both teams tried their best to finish each other off.

In the end, The Usos won the match with a big splash. They will now face The Bludgeon Brothers at the “Greatest Royal Rumble” event for the tag-team championship. After the match, The Bludgeon Brothers came out to stare at them down.

It is about to go down!

This was a solid match for both Naomi and Natalya. Each women exchanged blows and it all came down to the "Moon Slaught" by Naomi to seal the win. The crowd’s fantastic reception was shown well throughout the match. The fans sure know how to have a great time with their cheering.

Backstage, Renee Young caught up with Shinsuke Nakamura about his attack on AJ Styles at Wrestlemania. However, Nakamura faked his apology and said that he “does not speak English.” Of course you can speak English, Shinsuke. Do not fool us to think that you can't. He is very capable of understanding what we as the fans say and it seems he does not care about what Renee says.

This was the best he has been on the main roster so far.

Then Charlotte Flair came out to talk about beating Asuka at WrestleMania and still being the SmackDown Live Women’s Champion. She asked, “Who can I make a magic moment in the ring with next?”

Here comes NXT’s The Iconics!!!

The Iconic duo made their WWE debut!

It is about damn time!!

Both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce proceeds to talk trash about Charlotte and start to beat her down around ringside for a long, long time. I have to say, Charlotte sold the beating pretty well. Both Kay and Royce looked awesome and dangerous in their debut. Then again, so did the “Riot Squad.”

Carmella's Epic Title Win!

As both the Iconic duo finished annihilating Charlotte for good, out came the moon-walking, trash-talking Carmella with the “Money in the Bank” briefcase. She tried to cash in her contract, but the referee looked puzzled by what was happening in front of him. He was like, “What is this strange briefcase you brought here? Do you want to do what with it? A match, you say, for the title? Okay.” (laugh)

Then the referee finally handed the briefcase over to one of the workers and rang the bell to start the match.

Wasting no time, Carmela kicked the hell out of Charlotte and pinned her to become the new SmackDown Live Women’s Champion!!

I was so shocked about The Iconic Duo debut that I forgot all about Carmela cashing in, which made the segment even better. They really took their time with the title switch as well, allowing Carmela to parade around ringside and showed off the belt.

Then Carmela did a short segment backstage about her win and thanking one special person in her life. Was it her parents? Her boyfriend? James Ellsworth? (laugh)

No one!!!

It was herself!!

How selfish!

Man, that was a really cool moment for Carmela and I am sorry for Charlotte. She will get her revenge soon once the roster shake-up concludes.

The "Apex Predator" Randy Orton is the new number one contender to Jinder Mahal’s United States Championship.

Nooooo!!!!

Randy won a fantastic triple threat match against Bobby Roode and Rusev, who surprisingly did not take the pinfall, was the most underman in the match. That whacky crowd again! Both Randy and Jinder will have their match at "Backlash," but I hope Randy gets drafted to Raw next week so we do not have to see them have another feud.

The main event you all have been waiting for is finally here!!!

The Dream Match.

Daniel Bryan versus AJ Styles.

Both men had a fantastic match and gave you just enough to make you want to see them again in a pay-per-view for the WWE Championship. Bryan is so naturally gifted in the ring and Styles is phenomenal in the ring, as well. This was wonderful for fans everywhere. They went back and forth for a while, but who interrupts the match?

It was none other than Shinsuke Nakamura.

He was livid and kicked Daniel Bryan for the DQ (Disqualification). Shinsuke was not done yet. He low-blowed Aj Styles, gave him the “Kinshasa” and low-blowed him again.

Stop, Shinsuke!!

AJ is already hurt as it is!!

So Shinsuke solidified himself as a heel, and this epic feud will make you want to see AJ get his revenge even more. This was a really good episode of SmackDown Live. With a great NXT call-up, a shock title switch, and two really fun matches. Paige is a nice addition to the WWE team and seeing Daniel Bryan back as a full-time wrestler. Aside from Orton, Mahal, Naomi and Natalya's respective matches, this was a brilliant show.

So that was all for this week’s SmackDown Live results!
