I’ll Pray for You, Kendrick

On the track ‘Feel’ in Kendrick Lamar’s new album ‘Damn’, Kendrick says “ain’t nobody prayin’ for me”. Well Kendrick, I am going to pray for you. I implore everyone else to join me.

Dear God,

Thank you for this day we have received.

For everything you have blessed us with and continue to bless us with.

Father God, on this momentous Easter weekend, I want to pray for your beloved son Kendrick Lamar.

I ask that You help him through the difficult areas of his life.

That You are with him as he tries to deal with any issues and problems he may be facing. One’s that he talks about and that one’s he keeps out of the media.

That You guide him, lead him, and protect him through everything that he is going through and feeling.

Help him with the issue of loyalty that he has to deal with in his life.

Help him with the issue of pride.

Help him with the issue of being humble.

Help him with the issues of lust.

Help him with the issues of love.

Help him with the issues of sex.

Help him with his fear and his depression.

Help him not carry the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Help him to continue to do the great works You intend for him.

Help him know You, and love You, and receive Your grace.

I ask all of this in Jesus’ name.
