Are You a Fan of WWE?

Then you NEED to read this.

I started watching WWE when I was six years old. I saw Chris Jericho arrive to WWE in year 2000, saw him win against Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock to become the Undisputed Champion. I saw Triple H destroy Shawn Michael after the DX era. Evolution with Thiple H, Randy Orton, Batista and "WOOOOOOOO" Ric Flair? So many good memories of me, sitting beside my dad's side and watching wrestling in "AWE."

But now, if you're an avid fan like me, someone who watched the Attitude Era, all the good stories, the amazing matches, and the out of this world talented wrestlers we had back then, there is a chance that you are happy with the quantity but missing the quality of the product! But there is an alternative for you and it is called: NXT.

NXT is a wrestling show broadcast on the WWE Network. NXT is to WWE what the AHL is to the NHL, a place where some young or old prospects go to perfect their game/craft before the big league. You might be thinking: "So you want me to watch some beginners wrestle instead of WWE?", well, this is where is gets better, they are not beginners, at least not all of them.

In the roster we can count some of the best wrestler some people saw on the indie scene, actually, some of the main roster (WWE) came from NXT. Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, The architect Seth Rollins, The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose or if you're a fan of the , the big dog, Roman Reigns came from there too!

For what it's worth, some of the big name of the company is from there but what I want to talk about here is how great NXT is! As of right now, NXT count within them a couple of great name within : Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Ricochet, Aleister Black, Kairi Sane and EC3 just to name a few. What's even better is that they have AMAZING storyline and that's what got me to write this article.

Why? Simple! I knew NXT existed but I never got my head around to watch it until very recently. I was watching WWE and found myself skipping through entire promos and even matches sometimes because I felt like they were giving me poor product quality and I got sick of it. Stopped watching, one week went by and then a second and a third and so on. Then, I found myself missing wrestling. A part of me wasn't fine with it. Every time I watch wrestling, it brings me back to when I was a little child and watched the show with my dad; and since it is ONE of the best way to feel close to him, God rest his soul, I had to watch wrestling again and that's when I stumble over NXT.

It's been two months now that I haven't watched WWE and do I miss it? No. I miss some wrestlers like The Miz or Kevin Owens, but I don't miss the product and I sure as hell don't regret leaving it behind. NXT is full of amazing talents and storylines waiting for you to watch them. I find myself excited about the next show every Wednesday when it finishes. I find myself wanting more and more every week since it is only an hour long and I can't remember the last time WWE actually succeeded to make me feel something other than boredom.

So here it is. If you feel like me and want to watch something new, or maybe you just want to watch even more wrestling, then tune in on the WWE Network, you will have acces to lots of NXT programming, every NXT Takeover (PPV) and even every WWE PPV. NXT Takeover Chicago 2 is just around the corner, on June 16th, an amazing card is scheduled: Ricochet vs Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan vs Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano vs Tomasso Chiampa are the three matches I am the most excited for but there is much more. Don't miss it!

This is finally the end of my very first article. It was fun to write about something that I love that much. Have a good day readers, and give a chance to NXT. You won't regret it.
