A few more photos from the Winnipeg Jets training camp on Fan Fest Day!

Picking right where I left off with the last photo story, the one-on-one battles in the training camp continue. As usual, all of the very blurry shots have been left out, as have the ones where people walked in front of me and literally blocked my shots! Above is a shot of Dustin Byfuglien (red jersey) chasing after the speedy Marko Dano (sapphire jersey).

Dano works the puck to the corner as Byfuglien sticks close to the net, and as goaltender Laurent Brossoit keeps an eye on the speedy forward.

As Dano spins to his left to make an approach towards the net, Byfuglien keeps a close, watchful eye on the speedy forward.

Is Dano going to attempt to swing around in front of the net, or try a wraparound on net? Byfuglien watches him carefully to try and cut down Dano's offensive options.

It appears like Dano is planning a quick cut to the front of the net, so Byfuglien puts himself into a posture to prevent this from happening.

Dano tries cutting around Byfuglien but instead is stripped of the puck, much to Laurent's relief.

Even without having the puck, Dano gives chase to Byfuglien, trying to catch up and get the puck back, staying in a low position to cut off any possible shoot-outs. Brossoit remains attentive to the play.

Dano continues chasing down Byfuglien as Brossiot watches Dano's positioning and actions.

Matthieu Perrault (with the puck) is watched attentively by Kirstian Vesalainen, who is keeping him away from the net with the long reach of his stick.

An attempt is made by Vesalainen to poke check the puck away from Perreault, but it does not work as Perreault manages to keep possession.

Marko Dano (sapphire jersey) and Brandon Tanev (navy jersey) are all smiles as they listen to the instructions from assistant coach Charlie Huddy.

Tanev cuts around the equally determined Dano to get his shot on Brossoit. Even so, there is a considerable distance between Tanev and the net. Will he get a shot off?

Tanev does get a shot off, but Brossoit is able to lock up his pads and the puck bounces away to his stick hand side, out of harm's way.

All three men keep their eyes on the puck as Tanev zeroes in on the rolling piece of rubber, lashing through the goal crease to pounce on it, with Dano offering some resistance to that action.

The whistle is blown, rats!

Kristian Vesalainen and Jack Roslovic take their turning the drill. The rookie Vesalainen has possession of the puck as Roslovic offers as much friction as possible to prevent the big speedy Finland import from getting a shot off on net.

Vesalainen and Roslovic are chuckling in a good natured manner as the play is whistled down due to the two gentlemen tying their twigs together in an offensive tussle.

Roslovic is still smiling over the playful tussle he had with the Finnish rookie.

Returning to the rest of the group, Roslovic looks very much at ease.

Logan Stanley brings the puck out from behind the net for the drill.

Watching the puck carefully, Stanley brings the puck around so he doesn't lose possession.

Stanley picks up speed as he breezes around the net.

As the players watch the action, the moods seem to be mixed from rather pensive to rather amused, and everything in between.

Again, the moods are mixed all around, but at least nobody appears to be upset. Just a general mixed bag of tenseness along with a generally jovial mood.

Back to business as Andrew Copp (navy jersey) does his best to cut around defenseman Dustin Byfuglien (red jersey), with goaltender Laurent Brossoit keeping an eye on all the activity.

Copp decides to make the gutsier choice in cutting to the middle, out of the reach of Byfuglien's stick hand.

Byfuglien quickly gets in front of the rather determined Copp, as assistant coach Huddy looks on.

Ben Chiarot (red jersey) tries to keep Brandon Tanev (navy jersey) away from the net during their dueling time. Tanev still manages to get a shot off, none-the-less.

Tanev's shot goes off of the stick of Brossoit, veering to the goaltender's right hand side.

As the puck is played to one side by goaltender Brossoit, both Brossoit and Chiarot turn their attention to the puck, giving Tanev the opportunity to make a move without the other two players knowing his location.

Dmitry Kulikov has possession of the puck, having a lot of fun keeping the puck away from fellow defenseman Jacob Trouba. At least, that what the huge smile on his face reads as.

Again, that big grin says a lot about how much fun Kulikov is having. Cannot quite see Trouba's face in this shot but it's nice to see at least one of them was having fun!

Trouba looks a cross between somewhat amused and perplexed as Kulikov still wheels around with the puck.

Still with the huge grin on his face, Kulikov keeps possession of the puck as Trouba now looks a bit more on the slightly annoyed side. "Let me have a turn with it, please...?"

Amusement on both of the players' faces as their little game of tag comes to an eventual end, just before they are asked to do laps.

And yes, those laps will be the main subject of the final chapter of this rather large photo story from the Winnipeg Jets' Fan Fest/Training Camp day!!! Stay tuned!!!
